§ 08 — Why Pacific Peak

We're the contractor we'd want
working on our own house.

A trained crew. No subs.

Our installers are Pacific Peak employees — uniformed, background-checked, trained in-house to one install standard. Same people, same standard, every job.

02 — PRINCIPLE

Itemized quotes. In writing.

No scare tactics on diagnostics. A written, itemized estimate with equipment, labor, permits, and warranty — every line explained before you sign.

03 — PRINCIPLE

Done once. Done right.

Code-compliant venting, proper gas sizing, clean condensate, and electrical by the book. Pulled permits, certified equipment, and a warranty we back up.

Four steps from the first call to a warm, quiet house.

STEP 01

Request a quote.

Tell us about your home and what's going on. Takes a few minutes online, or pick up the phone.

STEP 02

We visit.

An estimator walks the property, measures what needs measuring, and asks what you actually want from the system.

STEP 03

Written estimate.

A clear, itemized quote. Equipment model numbers, labor, permit fees, and the warranty — every line explained.

STEP 04

Install & walkthrough.

We pull the permit, do the work clean, commission the system, and walk you through operation before we leave.

Diamond Contractor is Mitsubishi's elite dealer program — reserved for contractors who meet their highest standards for technical training and installation practice. The practical benefit: Mitsubishi equipment we install qualifies for their extended warranty — up to 12 years on parts and the compressor, vs. the 5–7 years that non-Diamond contractors can offer.
Yes. We handle light commercial HVAC for offices, retail, restaurants, and small multi-tenant buildings — including rooftop units, VRF systems, tenant improvements, and PM agreements. Fully insured for commercial work and can provide a Certificate of Insurance on request.
Yes. Pacific Peak Mechanical is a registered Washington LLC, registered with WA State Labor & Industries, and fully bonded and insured. License and insurance details available on request before any job starts.
Quotes for new equipment installs — heat pumps, furnaces, AC systems, ductless mini-splits — are free. For diagnostic service calls on existing equipment, there's a flat trip charge that's disclosed upfront. If you go ahead with the repair, that charge usually rolls into the job.
An estimator handles the initial walkthrough and quote. Our installers — all Pacific Peak employees, not subcontractors — handle the installation. For complex jobs, Sam is on-site himself. You'll know in advance who's coming.
Two brands and two brands only: Mitsubishi Electric and American Standard. We chose this focused approach deliberately — we'd rather know two premium product lines cold than install budget-tier equipment we can't fully stand behind.
Yes, on every install that requires one. A permit means the work was signed off by a Washington-licensed contractor and inspected by the jurisdiction. We don't cut that corner, ever.
For quotes, usually within 24–48 hours. For no-heat / no-cool emergency service, same day when our schedule allows. Call us and we'll tell you honestly what we can do.
