“Our upstairs was always 8–10 degrees hotter than the main floor. Pacific Peak walked the whole house and gave us an itemized quote the same day. They installed a zoning system with separate dampers and thermostats — each level holds its own temperature now, and our energy bill actually dropped.”
“Couldn’t be happier with Pacific Peak Mechanical. The install was clean and fast, the crew was respectful of the house, and everything was hauled away and tidied up before they left. The new system runs quiet and the house has never been this comfortable.”

Three questions. One range. No phone tag. Real pricing still requires an in-home look — but no one should have to call five contractors to get a rough number.
NO CALL · NO CREDIT CHECK · NO COMMITMENTEquipment changeouts done to code. No oversold systems, no mystery line-sets, no shortcuts on the gas line or condensate.

Swapped an electric-backup air handler for a gas furnace so the system runs dual-fuel — gas carries the load on the coldest days instead of pricey electric-resistance heat. Also upgraded the heat pump to a higher-efficiency unit. Re-routed the gas line, new flue, cleaned-up condensate runs, and code-compliant clearances throughout.
Old setup leaned on electric-resistance backup — expensive to run when it got cold. Gas now covers the coldest days and the upgraded heat pump does more of the work efficiently the rest of the year. New gas regulator, sediment trap, and a tidy service loop on the electrical.

The outdoor unit's compressor had died on an aging, rusted-out system — a repair that wasn't worth throwing money at. We replaced the whole system with a new Trane, wall-mounted up off the ground. New lineset, whip, and disconnect, with clean routing along the foundation and clear of the dirt line.
A dead compressor on a unit this old and corroded means the whole system is on borrowed time. New matched equipment throughout, wall-mounted to keep the coil clean and the disconnect and lineset up out of the weather.

Plain-English guides on rebates, repair-vs-replace decisions, and what actually works in our climate.
Rebates up to $2,500 are available for qualifying heat pump installs in Clark County — but the paperwork trips up most people. Here's what qualifies, and how we handle the application.
Over 15 years old AND repair quote more than 30% of replacement? Replace. Under either? Keep it and run.
Winters rarely drop below 25°F here. Cold-climate heat pumps outrun gas down to about 17°F — and cool the house in summer.
Ductless wins on additions, zoned comfort, and older homes without ductwork. Ducted wins on whole-home systems with existing good ducts.
