HVAC service for Camas’s older homes and Prune Hill new builds.
Camas is two different HVAC markets in one town. The downtown and heritage districts have 80- to 100-year-old homes with original ductwork and, often, electric baseboard heating still in place. Prune Hill, Lacamas Heights, and the newer developments have 20-year-old ducted systems hitting the end of their first equipment cycle. Both call for different approaches — and we do a lot of work in both.
Camas sits in a microclimate slightly warmer in summer than downtown Vancouver (south-facing slopes along the Columbia), which means cooling loads matter more here. Right-sizing is essential — an oversized system won’t dehumidify on mild summer days and you’ll feel clammy despite cool temperatures.
Camas is in Clark PUD territory, so the full Clark PUD heat pump rebate program applies — up to $2,500 for qualifying installs. NW Natural also runs seasonal rebate programs for high-efficiency gas furnaces.
Our estimators know the Camas permit office and have a working relationship with the city’s mechanical inspector. On permit scheduling, we usually close out Camas installs within 3–5 business days of the install date.
Camas is approximately 8 miles from our Vancouver HQ. Our typical response for scheduled work is 1–2 weeks lead time; for emergency service on existing clients, same-day response is the norm.
