Why American Standard.

American Standard builds some of the most reliable residential HVAC equipment on the market — and shares engineering and manufacturing with Trane, its sister brand under the same parent company. For homeowners, that means proven compressors, durable build quality, and a parts-and-warranty chain that's well-supported across the country.

As an Authorized Dealer, we're factory-certified on the full American Standard equipment line, with direct access to technical support and the manufacturer warranty chain. That certification is what lets us register and back the full factory warranty on every system we install.

The American Standard systems we install.

We install the complete lineup across all three efficiency tiers, so we can match equipment to your home and budget:

  • Heat pumps — Silver 14, Gold 17, and the variable-speed Platinum 20 (AccuComfort). The Platinum 20 modulates continuously for the quietest, most efficient operation. All current models use R-454B refrigerant.
  • Air conditioners — single-stage Silver, two-stage Gold, and variable-speed Platinum systems, sized properly for Vancouver's cooling load.
  • Gas furnaces — Silver 80 (80% AFUE), Gold S9V2, and Platinum 95 (95%+ AFUE condensing). Code-compliant venting, proper gas sizing, clean duct transitions.
  • Resolute heat pump lineup — American Standard's newer inverter-driven, low-profile, side-discharge heat pumps (Resolute 16 and 19) that fit tight side yards and zero-lot-line homes.

For specifics, see our dedicated guides to gas furnace installation, AC installation, and whole-home heat pump installation, or the full equipment lineup with model numbers and specs.

Heat pump, furnace, or dual-fuel?

American Standard's range lets us build whatever configuration fits your home — an all-electric heat pump, a high-efficiency gas furnace, or a dual-fuel hybrid that pairs a heat pump with a gas furnace backup. For most Vancouver homes, a heat pump is the better long-term choice; we walk through the tradeoffs in our heat pump vs furnace guide.

What an American Standard install with Pacific Peak includes.

  • Proper sizing. A full Manual J load calculation on every install — no rule-of-thumb guessing that leads to oversized, short-cycling equipment.
  • Direct-hire crews, no subcontractors. Every install is done by a trained Pacific Peak employee.
  • Pulled permits and inspection through Clark County or the relevant Oregon jurisdiction.
  • Full factory warranty, registered for you. We handle registration so your coverage is locked in.
  • Rebate handling. Qualifying heat pump installs are eligible for Clark PUD rebates (up to $2,500) plus manufacturer rebates — we compile and submit the paperwork. See our 2026 rebates guide.
  • A written, itemized quote before any work begins.
