“Our AC stopped working during a heat wave, 90 degrees inside! I called Sam and he arrived the same night, even though it was a weekend. Quick, easy to talk to, and clear about what needed repairing. Reliable and competent.”

“Our upstairs was always 8–10 degrees hotter than the main floor. Pacific Peak walked the whole house and gave us an itemized quote the same day. They installed a zoning system with separate dampers and thermostats, each level holds its own temperature now, and our energy bill actually dropped.”

Questions people ask us first.

How much does AC installation cost in Vancouver, WA?

An air-conditioning-only install for a home with a serviceable furnace typically runs about $7,400 to $16,800, depending on home size and efficiency tier. A full system or a heat pump that adds cooling costs more. Use our estimator for a real price range, or book a free in-home visit for a firm written quote.

Should I install an AC or a heat pump?

A heat pump cools exactly like an AC but also heats efficiently, and it qualifies for Clark PUD and other rebates that a cooling-only AC usually doesn't. If your furnace is also aging, a heat pump is often the better long-term value. If your furnace is newer and you just need cooling, a straight AC makes sense. We'll lay out both options on-site.

What SEER2 rating should my AC be?

All new systems must meet current federal SEER2 minimums, and higher SEER2 means lower running costs. The right tier depends on how long you'll stay in the home and your budget. Our SEER2 guide explains what the numbers mean for your power bill.

How long does an AC installation take?

Most air conditioning installs are completed in a single day. We confirm the timeline in your written quote before any work begins.
